Andrew Lo is an Executive Director at Standard Chartered Private Bank in Hong Kong where he leads a team of experienced Private Bankers and Customer Service Managers. A seasoned Private Banker, he had been previously worked at Coutts & Co and at HSBC Private Bank. Prior to banking, Andrew has practised as a licensed Professional Engineer.
He graduated from Oxford University with an MSc degree in Management Research in Finance and a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from University of Toronto. He holds a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter and earned a Professional Engineer license (P.Eng.).
Outside of work, Andrew devotes his time on education initiatives. He serves as a member of the Oxford University China Advisory Group and advises the University on development and alumni matters. He is also a committee member of the China Oxford Scholarship Fund. Andrew is working on a doctoral degree part time with research on consumer behaviour and choice models in private banking.
